Kunming bonded area passes national acceptance check

Recently, the Kunming Comprehensive Bonded Area passed a national acceptance check carried out by a joint team formed by ten government ministries. In doing so, it became the second comprehensive bonded area in Yunnan after the Honghe Bonded Area.

Zhang Hong, deputy director of the Administrative Committee of the Kunming Comprehensive Bonded Area, said in an interview that attracting investment is an ongoing process. After the national acceptance check, projects which have already signed contracts will soon be able to operate in the area. “After the acceptance check, closed operations will begin in about one or two months,” said Kunming Customs official Zhong Hui.

The Kunming Comprehensive Bonded Area was approved by the State Council in February 2016 and the project was completed and inspected in December of that year.
