2,500 volunteers ready for 2017 SSACEIF

With the 2017 South-Southeast Asia Commodity Expo and Investment Fair readying up to get underway, 2,500 volunteers completed their training before taking part in week-long event.

Hailing from 14 colleges and universities throughout Yunnan province, the volunteers were trained by professionals specialized in education, emergency-response, culture, health, transportation and science.

The 38 different training courses were aimed at providing the best in volunteer services for the attendees of the SSACEIF when it takes place from June 12 to 18.

Held in the Yunnan capital of Kunming, the SSACEIF is a trade event organized by China Chamber of International Commerce, the South Asian Chamber of Commerce, the ASEAN-China Centre and China-South Asia Expo secretariat.
