Zhaotong makes a splash at SSACEIF
The city of Zhaotong in Yunnan province has signed 62 projects with investors, reaping a bumper harvest at the 2017 South-Southeast Asia Commodity Expo and Investment Fair, held at Kunming, Yunnan province from June 12 to 18.
Covering 11 fields such as real estate, transportation, science, healthcare and information, the projects are expected to bring 36.4 billion yuan ($5.36 billion) in investment to Zhaotong.
Fifty-one of the projects are from other provinces in China, totaling 30.33 billion yuan. With 10 of them coming from Yunnan provincial investment, the other 52 were signed at the expo.
Zhaotong will loosen its investment policy further to attract more investors, improve its investment environment and continue to provide excellent investment services, said Yang Yalin, chief of Zhaotong CPC committee, at the expo.
