Companies showcase themselves at expo
Cooperative representatives from six countries and one artist from Dali, Yunnan province expressed their sincere hope for more cooperation between China and other Asian countries at a meeting held on June 17.
In conjunction with the 2017 South and Southeast Asia Commodity Expo and Investment Fair (SSACEIF), which was held in Kunming city from June 12 to 18, the meeting invited representatives and the artist to introduce their enterprises and products.
Asif Jabbar Khan, president of the Pakistan Furniture Association claimed that China is a market with big growth potential and he hoped that furniture produced in Pakistan would be promoted to China and other countries.
Having lived in Yunnan for five years, Seba, who runs an amber company in Poland, said that he hoped to introduce more accessories from Poland to China and to see more cultural exchanges between the two countries.
The Dali artist, Peng Kaihui, gave a presentation on embroidery works by members of the Bai ethnic group, and gave away some samples of her work to foreign visitors.
At the 2017 SSACEIF, the meeting was held for three sessions, in the hope of providing a platform for companies and countries to showcase themselves and deepen the understanding between each other.
