Yunnan airline buys 20 new planes from US giant
Kunming-based Ruili Airlines signed a $2.2 billion agreement with the US Boeing Co for the purchase of 20 new Boeing 737-MAX planes during the Paris Air Show 2017 held from June 19 to 25.
With an advanced engine and outer design, and more ergonomic inner decorating, the 737-MAX provides both highly comfortable and safe flights for passengers.
The planes will be used to support domestic and regional flights, said Ihssane Mounir, senior sales vice-president of Boeing.
Ruili Airlines belongs to the Yunnan Jingcheng Group Co, and opened to the public in 2014. The airline currently owns 14 planes providing 76 flights daily, all served by Boeing planes.
The Pairs Air Show was first held in 1909, and is considered one of the most famous and large-scale international air shows in the world.
