China, Laos jointly look into endangered species
Having finished a 6-day workshop in Lao Phongsaly province, 25 Chinese forestry staff members got back to nature reserves in Xishuangbanna on July 3, beginning an inquiry on the rare and endangered species in China-Laos border areas.
The inquiry is synchronically carried out in Laos by 10 forestry workers with agriculture and forestry departments of the Luang Namtha and Phongsaly provinces.
During the workshop, the China-Laos staff members carefully studied outdoor monitoring and patrol, infrared camera fixing and community protection to get well-prepared for the inquiry.
