Geothermal power project tested in Ruili

Recently, the“Ruili 100 megawatt geothermal power generation project”operated by Zhengzhou Dimeite New Energy Technology Company was successfully tested for the first time. It is a big breakthrough and innovation in new technology and equipment application and in geothermal resources development and utilization in China.

“Clean energy resource development and utilization will be a trend. Geothermal reserves are widely distributed. Geothermal power is clean, green, stable and recyclable.” Chen Zemin,  board director of the new energy company, said that geo-power grew slowly in the past because the equipment occupies a large piece of land to a couple of hundreds and even thousands mu, and the construction cycle takes 5 to 10 years with huge investment.

Since 2009, Chen Zemin led his technical team and tackled the core technology of the geothermal power generation. They creatively compressed the power plant equipment including the engine, power generator, sensor, cooling device to a module installed in the container. A new module of geothermal power generation in a distributed container is created. At the same time, it achieved high intelligence level by cutting off the power supply automatically and triggering the alarm system when the system anomaly is detected. The entire system is enclosed in the module.
