Yunnan matsutake hits international market

Yunnan matsutake is just in season these days, with its trade volume exceeding 100 tons daily and the average price dropping to 300 yuan per kilogram. 

The mushrooms are mainly sold to Chinese cities of Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou and Guanghzou, and they are also exported to Europe, America, Japan and Korea.

Now, Yunnan has become China’s top matsutake exporter, accounting for 70% of the country’s matsutake export.

40% of the imported matsutake in Japan comes from Yunnan.
