The 2017 Kunming Half Marathon will be held on the 10th of September. The Kunming marathon has been successfully held for five years since its inception in 2012. From the initial intake of 5,000 to more than 10,000 runners today, the scale of the event continues to expand.
It is reported that the competition this year will feature national characteristics to give runners a unique experience. The race setting includes men’s and women’s half marathon, 8-km run, and a parent-child 1-km run. Among them, the half marathon and 8-km run will be limited to 5,000 participants each, and the parent-child 1-km run will be limited to 200 pairs. The route will start at the Yunnan Museum and end at the Yunnan Minority Villages, traveling along Guangfu Road, Yunxiu Road, Huanhu Road and Yinghai Road.
