The China Yunnan-South Asia Friendship Organization Forum begins on Monday in Kunming, capital city of Yunnan Province, focusing on closer bonds and cooperation for stronger friendship and development.

Topics of discussion include economy and trade cooperation, and social and cultural exchanges.

The representatives of friendship organization , think tanks and universities are seeking to build consensus and enhance people to people exchanges between China and South Asia.

During the forum, Yunnan Provincial People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries signed Agreement on the Establishment of Friendly Exchange & Cooperation Relationship with Organization for South Asian Regional Friendship and Cooperation with China.
