China’s largest avocado plantation built in Yunnan

The avocado plantation owned by Pu’er Lüyin Biotechnology in Menglian County, Yunnan Province has become the largest avocado farm in China. The Pu’er Lüyin Biotechnology has a total planting area of 500 hectares.

The company plans to develop an additional 3,333-hectare plantation between 2015 and 2020, while also building an avocado breeding center, a high-quality and high-yield cultivation demonstration park, a raw materials processing factory, a deep processing factory, a national avocado seed bank and a national avocado engineering and technology centre.
