28 extended HSR terminals bring ease to more people in Yunnan

According to the Kunming Municipal Railway Bureau, Yunnan is building 28 extended terminal stations by combining both the high-speed railway and bus service together. This effort will make it more convenient for passengers living in places without high-speed rail.

"Now, I can buy bus tickets and railway tickets at a single office, and take a bus to high-speed railway stations. That’s quite convenient.” Gao Jinda, a high-speed rail passenger who lives in downtown of Wenshan Zhuang and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, bought his train ticket at a bus station and went to the nearest Puzhehei high-speed train station to catch a train bound for Guangzhou. 

According to Kunming Municipal Railway Bureau, such services are now available for passengers living in Wenshan, Xishuangbanna, Yuxi, Pu’er and Chuxiong. A total of 26 extended terminals of this type have been completed so far.
