Dali race of Granfondo cycling festival opens
The 2017 Colorful Yunnan International Granfondo Cycling Festival recently comes to Dali—its last race, attracting a participation of 900 cyclists from 22 countries and regions. It is the longest and the most challenging.
This year’s Dali race is divided into a 120-kilometer-long race and a 47-kilometer-long race.
In the men’s 120-kilometer-long race, Narankhuu from Mongolia wins the championship with 2 hours 56 minutes 57 seconds, while Tang Xin from Kunming Spring City Team wins in the women’s with 3 hours 15 minutes and 32 seconds.
Located in west Yunnan, Dali is a world renowned destination for tourists because of its beautiful landscapes and profound ethnic cultures. It is one of the best places in Yunnan to hold cycling races.
