Yunnan athletes win eight gold, 18 silver medals at WKC

At the seventh World Kungfu Championship (WKC), Yunnan Wushu (martial arts) Association sent 30 athletes to participate in the competition, winning a total of eight gold, 18 silver and 20 bronze medals.

Involving three events of individual show, pair training and group competition, the five-day championship was divided into the domestic group and the overseas group.

To perform excellently at international game, Yunnan Wushu Association made preparation as early as this September. And 30 athletes were finally selected to participate the event on behalf of Yunnan.
