SCO Kunming Marathon starts online application

The 2017 SCO Kunming International Marathon will be held December 31 on the shores of Kunming’s Dianchi Lake. Some 16,000 participants are expected to compete in the full marathon, half marathon, five-kilometre and two-kilometre events.

You can apply online at www.sco-marathon.com from November 15 to December 10. After the application process is complete, a full list of participants will be determined by means of a random lottery.

The 2016 SCO Kunming International Marathon attracted more than 16,000 runners from all over the world. It was lauded by SCO member states and was recognized by the Chinese Athletic Association (CAA) as both a “bronze medal event” and a “natural ecological event.”
