Expressway opens to traffic in east Yunnan

The Xuanwei-Qujing Expressway in east Yunnan Province was put into trial operation Wednesday, reducing the travelling time to one hour from the previous two hours.

With its building kicked off in February 2015, the 104.85 km expressway consumed 9.637 billion yuan, passing through the county-level city of Xuanwei, Zhanyi County, the Qujing economic development zone and Malong County.

A minibus one-way fare costs RMB 49.
