Yunnan begins to issue license to new energy vehicles

Yunnan officially issued the first batch of NEV license number plates.

In order to better develop the new energy vehicle industry, promote energy conservation and increase urban environmental protection, NEV license plate numbers have been put into use in 12 cities in Yunnan.

The new energy vehicles mainly include pure electric vehicles, plug-in hybrid vehicles and fuel cell vehicles. Currently, there are five new energy vehicle makers in Yunnan. By the first half of 2018, NEV license number plates will go into use in all counties and cities across the province.
