Yunnan aims to have 20 civilian airports by 2020

Reports say that by the year 2020 Yunnan Province will realize a total of 20 civilian airports.

Currently, there are 15 civilian transport airports are put into operation in Yunnan Province. During the 13th Five-Year Plan period, Yunnan will focus on the construction of a "two networks and one hub" .

By 2020, the province will put 20 civilian transport airports in total into use and strive to build 50 general airports of all kinds to form a long-term airport network. 

This goal aims to further promote the regional economy development.
