2017 “Belt and Road” International Rally kicks off in Kunming
On December 11, the 2017 “Belt and Road” International Rally kicks off in Kunming.
Entering its second year, the rally aims to continuously promote the “Belt and Road” Initiative in cities along the 7,000-kilometer route which starts from Kunming, China, and runs through Laos, Thailand and Cambodia.
This year, the event attracts 144 participants from off-road racers, business representatives, journalists and the event staff members. Several races will be held during the 20-day rally including track racing and endurance racing.
And in Chiang Mai, Thailand and Phnom Penh, Cambodia, commercial and trade promotion fairs will be held in a bid to promote business and trade cooperation between China, especially its Yunnan Province and South and Southeast Asian countries.
