Export volume via Hekou border gate rises by 85.7 percent
From January to February this year, the export volume of agricultural products that were exported to Vietnam via south Yunnan’s Hekou border gate has increased by 85.7 percent year on year, according to Kunming Customs on March 30.
Among the Yunnan-featured produces, oranges and apples form the bulk with a total export value of 370 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 197.2 percent.
Officers at the Hekou border gate also improved their inspection services to ensure fast customs clearance, partly contributing to the export increase.
