Bank, customs join hands for faster clearance
The Bank of China (BOC) Yunnan Branch and Kunming Customs have co-worked out new electronic service packages on customs clearance to enhance efficiency, according to a recent policy promotion.

The BOC Yunnan branch will also proceed to cooperate with Kunming Customs on cross-border electronic commerce and private financial service to form a better service system.
Thanks to the nation-wide Customs revenue collection and the BOC e-clearance platform, Kunming Customs has increased the application scope a bank guarantee and electronic taxes payment services.
The nation-wide customs revenue collection, implemented by the General Administration of Customs of China (GACC), is a new and easy mechanism for revenue collection.
The BOC e-clearance services platform dates back to as early as in 2003 and was further upgraded in 2012.
