SSACEIF sets up Culture and Tourism Pavilion to display Yunnan holistic tourism

The Culture and Tourism Pavilion will be set up for the first time in the 2019 South and Southeast Asia Commodity Expo and Investment Fair (SSACEIF), which will be held in Kunming, capital of southwest China’s Yunnan Province from June 12 to 18, according to a press conference held recently by Yunnan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism.

The Culture and Tourism Pavilion (The 13th Pavilion) sits in the third floor of Dianchi International Convention and Exhibition Center. It consists of zones demonstrating images of culture and tourism, intangible cultural heritages, boutique cultural products, smart tourism, tourism complex, tourism enterprises and tourism products. It covers an area of 10,000 square meters and will show the images and achievements of holistic tourism of the 16 prefectures and cities of Yunnan.

Epitomizing the holistic tourism philosophy——There is only one scenic area in Yunnan, which is just called “Yunnan”, the pavilion features modern creativity, smart tourism and traditional ethnic culture. The pavilion will show the culture and tourism integration in Yunnan, aiming at providing a platform for cooperation and exchanges between exhibitors and enterprises.                                           
High technologies are applied in the design of the pavilion. Visitors can experience cultural activities brought by inheritors of 20 provincial intangible cultural heritages in the pavilion.
