2019 Fortune Global Sustainable Forum concludes in China’s Yunnan

2019 Fortune Global Sustainable Forum was held on September 6 in Yuxi City, SW China’s Yunnan Province.

The 2019 Fortune Global Sustainable Forum, themed “Green Grows Up: Forging A New Environmental Consensus”, concluded on September 6 in Yuxi City, SW China’s Yunnan Province.

The forum focused on the convergence of energy, technology and sustainability, convening around 300 senior leaders in business, government, NGOs and academia from home and abroad.

The program of the forum explored key trends in environmental protection, energy innovation, smart transportation, sustainable tourism, environmental standard in “Belt and Road” construction projects and other subjects, emphasizing paths and experiences of sustainable development in various fields.

Participants reached the consensus that sustainable development is the key to the world’s future development and international cooperation is needed in sustainable development.

They believe that China has important status in world sustainable development. And Yunnan, a place endowed with abundant natural resources and location advantages, has made great achievements in sustainable development in recent years.

The Fortune Global Forum is a famed forum with global influence. The 2019 Fortune Global Sustainable Forum is the first global sustainable forum held by the Fortune Global Forum.
