China's Kunming to host City Orienteering Challenge in January
The 2020 Kunming City Orienteering Challenge will take place on January 1 in China's southwestern Yunnan Province, organizers announced on Monday.
"More than 1,500 people are expected to take part in this urban road race, which will promote a healthy lifestyle in the city of Kunming," spokesman He Weixiang told a press conference.
The participants will be divided into five-member teams, who will have to run across four districts along six routes to complete a series of tasks and challenges. It is estimated that competing all the tasks would take four to six hours.
"We are turning the city into a big playground. There is no age limit for participants, so everyone can join the fun," He said.
This challenge will be the fourth edition of the event.
