Southwest China's Yunnan Province plans to pool in 10 billion yuan (1.4 billion U.S. dollars) to build processing parks for local agricultural products.
The province will focus on eight key industries, including tea, flowers, Chinese medicinal herbs and coffee, according to a government work report.
Yunnan will build 10 processing parks, with each at least two square km in planned area. The authorities will make efforts to ensure that each park will have an annual output value of more than 2 billion yuan.
