The Global Supply-Chain Alliance for South and Southeast Asia was founded in Kunming, Yunnan province on July 27, when a training session on supply-chain services was concurrently held.

Representatives from over 70 logistic firms, business associations and universities, attended the training. And the major founding members of the alliance involve the Yunnan Baoxiang Logistics Group, Yunnan Jiantou Logistics Company, and Yunnan Yuntianhua United Commerce, and others.

The training focused on company classifications and evaluation indicators for the supply-chain service, which were released in May by China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing. Lecturers at the session also spoke of digitalization of supply chains and the supply-chain modeling that helps enterprises in competitiveness.
