Statistics by local trade authority show the foreign trade volume at Hekou land port in south Yunnan’s Honghe prefecture reached 9.98 billion yuan in the first half of this year, increasing by 4.8% year on year.

Affected by the Covid-19 epidemic, foreign trade values via the Hekou port near Vietnam added up to 7.82 billion yuan in the first five months, a slight drop of 0.8%.

To facilitate cross-border trade, the port has adopted the one-stop service in customs clearance, opening green channels for produces and cutting costs for businesses in question.
