55 Yunnan companies join in Guangzhou food fair

A total of 55 green-food enterprises from Yunnan province attended the 9th Guangzhou International Food and Ingredients Fair from September 4 to 6, during which 14 long-term purchase agreements were signed between Yunnan companies and their counterparts in south China’s Guangdong. 

With their purchasing amount reaching 872,300 yuan, the Yunnan companies also held lively business activities at the fair in a bid to promote the Yunnan green foods, showing provincial practice in poverty reduction by boosting consumption. 

Yunnan vegetables are popular among local consumers in Guangdong province. According to incomplete statistics, they accounts for more than 30% of the vegetables supplied to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Next, Yunnan Provincial Department of Commerce will continue facilitating sales of Yunnan green foods, rendering them into quality brands with reasonable prices.
