CIIE: Yunnan to seize business opportunities in Shanghai
By displaying its tourism, heritages, technology and industries, Yunnan Province is seizing the business opportunities presented by the third China International Import Expo (CIIE) that opened in Shanghai on November 4.
At the tourism exhibition area, the Go-Yunnan app is highlighted for it represents the province effort in embracing smart tourism and quality services to visitors. Yunnan also shows its western scenic attractions, which in the long run will form a grand ring route for travelers.
Yunnan is rich in heritages. At the 3rd expo, local Pu’er tea art, the craft of making go-pieces, the Naxi pictures and others will be appealing to global exhibitors.
Time-honored brands of Yunnan are shown by typical objects coupled with descriptions and pictures. The brands involve medicine, hams, tea, moon cakes, canned food, silver decorations and glasses.
Since its inception in 2018, the CIIE has been held in Shanghai annually to offer the Chinese market to the world. This year’s expo amid Covid-19 shows again China’s resolve in opening up.
