Yunnan Baiyao's net profit up 31.85 percent in 2020

China's Yunnan Baiyao Group announced that its net profit attributable to shareholders reached 5.52 billion yuan (about 843.4 million U.S. dollars) in 2020, up by 31.85 percent year on year.

Headquartered in southwest China's Yunnan Province, Yunnan Baiyao is a time-honored brand famous for producing baiyao, a white powder used to stop bleeding and relieve pain.

According to a company report released on Friday, it raked in 32.74 billion yuan in operating revenue last year, an annual increase of 10.38 percent.

The company is also a leading toothpaste seller in China, with its market share reaching 22.2 percent by the end of last year.
