Children have merry day in west Yunnan

In west Yunnan’s Dali, Lijiang and Shangri-La, cultural and entertaining activities were held for children to have a great time on June 1, the International Children's Day.

The Dafang bookstore in Dali prefecture had a traditional paper-cutting activity, where teachers, parents and pupils communicated with each other at ease.

At the snow mountain art gallery in Lijiang City, children created their own paintings that showed flowers, grass, ancient bridges and more. Winning praise from the visitors, the kids took pride in their works.

The children in Shangri-La City played the games of Tic Tac Toe, sandbag throwing and others, winning gifts and prizes from the organizers. Many of them were accompanied by their parents.
