3,000 workers fight overnight to build isolated board rooms in Menglian
Within just 18 days, construction of new 5,113 isolated board rooms in Menglian County, south Yunnan’s Pu’er City for receiving novel coronavirus patients were completed, and the facility was handed over for use on July 12.
In order to win the battle to prevent and control the border epidemic, and ensures that the returnees on border will be fully managed, Menglian County urgently launched a construction project of isolated board rooms in accordance with the overall deployment requirements.
The project was built in the Menglian Port passing Meng’a and Mangxin. There was a total of 8 construction points, covering an area of 19.73 ha. The miracle was possible thanks to more than 3,000 workers and more than 260 machines, putting in shifts day and night.
Up to now, Menglian County has 9,440 isolated board rooms in 12 areas and 53 isolated spots.
