2021 SSACEIF to highlight healthy life, opening-up

Six online exhibition halls will be set up for the coming 2021 South and Southeast Asia Commodity Expo and Investment Fair (SSACEIF): Green Energy Pavilion, Healthy Life Destination, Green Food Pavilion, Domestic Pavilion, Overseas Pavilion, and Investment Cooperation.

The green-food cloud pavilion will be divided into 16 exhibition areas, and an exclusive zone will be designed for Yunnan State Farms Group. Other Chinese provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities will also have presence.

The overseas pavilions will feature five exhibition areas: South Asia, Southeast Asia, Indian Ocean Rim, other countries, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan of China. The Investment Cooperation pavilion consists of four exhibiting areas.

A diversity of Yunnan opening-up platforms will also have a collective show-up, including the China (Yunnan) pilot free trade zone, the Yunnan Dianzhong new area, the economic zones in Qujing, Mengzi and Dali, the bonded zones in Kunming and Honghe, and the China-Laos economic cooperation zone.

The 2021 SSACEIF will take place online from August 25 to 29. In the context of the RCEP implementation and the coming operation of the China-Laos railway, the SSACEIF will highlight cross-border cooperation with the ASEAN nations and countries in the Indian Ocean region.

Embracing the RCEP rules and standards, the fair aims to boost digital economy, processing trade, cross-border e-commerce and agriculture.

Exhibitors from Chinese provinces, as well as companies from 8 South Asian countries and 11 ASEAN nations, have signed up for the cloud exhibition so far.
