A group of lovely flying squirrels were spotted in the Taibaoshan forest park, southwest Yunnan’s Baoshan City. When night falls, they would become active and start gliding.

Flying squirrels, also called gliding squirrels, have a special membrane between their front and back legs, and the membrane allows them to glide from one tree to another.

With better protection of biodiversity in recent years, the population of flying squirrels in Baoshan has increased.
