Centenarian receives 1st COVID jab

Xiong Luo, a centenarian aged 111, came to the Zhongliang villagers’ committee alone for the first COVID-19 vaccine in Jinping Miao, Yao and Dai autonomous county, south Yunnan’s Honghe prefecture on Jan 17.
Zhongliang village has recently offered COVID jabs for seniors over 60 years old. And the senior lady born in October 1910 was vaccinated without the company of her relatives.
A detailed physical check-up had been conducted by the village medical staff before her first jab.
