Yunnan rolls out 15-day childcare leave

Yunnan parents with two or more children below the age of 3 will enjoy a maximum of 15-day childcare leave in a year, according to a provincial regulation adopted on January 17.

The revised Yunnan regulation on population and family planning offered 10 days of yearly leave to parents with one child less than 3 years old.

Allowing each couple to have three children at most, the regulation also designed other measures to encourage birth giving.

The measures cover educational and nursery services, as well as facility building in public areas.
