Yunnan ski jumper ranks 38th in Olympics

Peng Qingyue, a 17-year-old ski jumper from Yunnan province, covered 63.5 meters in the women's Normal Hill Individual Ski Jumping event at the 2022 Winter Olympics on February 5, ranking the 38th with 31.3 points and not being qualified for the final.
Two other Chinese players, Dong Bing and Peng Qingyue, ranked 31st and 38th in the competition.

40 athletes from 16 countries participated in the women's ski jumping. The oldest skier is 38 years old, the youngest 15.
Slovenian Ursa Bogataj won gold medal of the event, with silver and bronze secured by Katharina Althaus, a German and Nika Kriznar, again a Slovenia.
