Int'l cultural event held in Yunnan, Myanmar

Around 1,000 residents living in the border areas between Yunnan and Myanmar attended a cultural exchange on June 29, under the theme of people-to-people bonds for closer ties.

The activity was held physically and virtually in the Yunnan localities of Kunming, Lincang and Dehong, as well as the Myanmar areas of Myitkyina, Muse and Lashio.

The event was highlighted by singing and dances by young people in the border areas, with Yunnan donating necessities to the Myanmar side, which included street lamps, basketball facilities, stationery and medical supplies.
