Yunnan pilot FTZ promising for businesses

The Honghe area of China (Yunnan) pilot Free Trade Zone will usher in more business opportunities from the recent provincial measures on building the cross-border e-commerce pilot zone in south Yunnan’s Honghe Yi and Hani autonomous prefecture.

Under the backdrop of the RECP taking into effect, Honghe aims to tap the cross-border business potential, creating an e-commerce hub between Yunnan province and the Indo-China peninsular.

By the year 2025, the Honghe e-commerce pilot zone will be home to 100 leading companies each with an annual trade volume of 10 billion yuan.

On the other hand, the Kunming area of the Yunnan pilot FTZ has launched a one-stop platform for quality-related services on July 1.

The digital platform will serve Kunming import-export firms in quality management, quality branding, IPR, standards, testing and more.
