Another scenic road in Yunnan to open soon

Construction of the Tiger Leaping Gorge-Shangri-La expressway is nearing its completion and will be open to traffic within this year.

Winding its way in northwest Yunnan’s Diqing Tibetan autonomous prefecture, the 170.6-kilometer road passes through the Tiger Leaping Gorge, the Pudacuo national park and other scenic areas.

The whole line was designed with 23 viewing decks and parking areas, where rolling snow mountains far away will release passengers from pressure.
