College graduate enriched by vegetable blind box

Native to Yi countyof Huangshan city, east China’s Anhui province, Zheng Tao is a college graduatewho returned to his hometown to start his own business. He has been growing 33 Chinese mu (around 2.2 hectares) of high-quality vegetables since 2021.

As for marketing, Zheng created the vegetable-blind-box mode, where vegetables are randomly matched in boxes and sold online. The brand-new business mode also increased local farmers’ income. Now, the daily sales of vegetables by Zheng reached 2,000 jin, or 1,000 kilograms.
