AI used for managing cows on dairy farm

In the city of Wuwei, northwest China’s Gansu province, there is a modern dairy farm that uses the artificial Intelligence (AI) to its utmost.

Wearing a smart necklace, the cows here will have their breathing data, feeding patterns and step counts uploaded instantly, allowing veterinarians to monitor the milk production and health conditions of each cow in real time.

When cows are equipped with the latest e-ear tags, they seem to have been issued an ID card that ha made it much easier for the farm owner to manage the cows. AI has greatly improved efficiency of dairy farm.
