On August 16, we interviewed some designers of the cultural products at the CSA Expo, and here are their ideas on being creative.

The colorful laser handbag

They said they created the media gifts with international vision and local expression, aiming to show the world infinite implications of Yunnan, or the South of Colorful Clouds.

The brooch design is inspired by the cymbidium, a highly-visible orchid in Yunnan, the Douban orchid in south Yunnan’s Mile city, and the unique tern in west Yunnan’s Yingjiang county.

The dazzling loose-leaf notebook

They added that with the Yunnan animals and plants as archetypes, the reporters will feel the provincial biodiversity beauty, and more will be inspired to think about biodiversity protection.

At the expo, the vivid design of the wild mushroom-shaped fridge stickers for reporters are praised by countless expo guests and visitors, and they took photos of the little souvenir.

The designers said the creation is an special exercise of "seeing the profound in the subtle." They thought of the mushrooms for August, when the CSA Expo takes place, coincides with the mushroom season.
