The “Blooming Champa” Night Event on May 30

The “Blooming Champa” Night Event was held for the flowering China-Laos ties in central Yunnan's Kunming city on May 30, inviting in around 100 officials, journalists and university students from the two countries.

 

During the event, the China-Laos reporters who had just finished a “Blooming Champa” media tour shared their reporting experiences, including those from YICC, Hunan Daily and Lao National Radio.

Lao students from Kunming Railway Vocational and Technical College performed Chinese and Laos songs and showed the audience how to play Sepak Takraw, a traditional ball game popular in the Lancang-Mekong countries.
