The “Getting Better for Shared Future” Lancang-Mekong Media Chiefs Dialogue
The “Getting Better for Shared Future” Lancang-Mekong Media Chiefs Dialogue went on under the theme of Digitalization: Mapping New Landscape for Lancang-Mekong Media Cooperation.

“Thanks to the YICC and Yunnan Provincial Key Laboratory of Media Convergence, Yunnan Daily enhanced efficiency by applying AI and interaction to international communication,” said He Zukun, Party Secretary and President of Yunnan Daily Press Group.

Vansay Tavinyan, Editor-in-Chief of Lao Pasaxon Newspaper, said Lancang-Mekong Cooperation (LMC) is vital in safeguarding the interests of all countries in the region, and media should be a "megaphone" for LMC prosperity and development.

Xiang Zeying, Party Secretary of Chongqing Daily News Group, suggested the six LMC countries should establish a cooperative mechanism for a shared voice, deepening international cooperation and integrating culture into tourism.

"To get better, media in the LMC countries need to step up cooperation, so that the bright future jointly planned by the six countries could bear results," said Bui Thi Tuyen, a Vietnamese majoring journalism at Yunnan University.
