China sees over 52.7 mln trips during the New Year’s Day holiday

China has seen about 52.7 million domestic tourist visits during the three-day New Year holiday, up 0.44 percent year on year, according to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism on Monday. Domestic tourism revenue increased by 4.0% yearlyto 26.517 billion yuan. All of these suggest that the national cultural and holiday travel market is steadily recovering.
