The digital teaching condition of Chinese primary and secondary schools has improved as they all have access to the Internet, with more than 3/4 of schools in wireless coverage, according to the Chinese Ministry of Education.
In 2021, the Internet access rate for primary and secondary schools in China reached 100%, 75% higher than that in 2012. More than 3/4 of the schools are connected to wireless networks; 99.5% of them have multimedia classrooms, totaling more than 4 million.
The "national network cloud platform for primary and secondary schools" of the Ministry of education has been upgraded to "national intelligent education platform for primary and secondary schools." The upgraded platform has 10 sections and 53 columns, including teaching, physical education, aesthetic education, labor education and so on. The new platform's teaching resources have quadrupled to 44,000 items, and its online teaching courses added up to 25,000 hours, 2.9 times more than that of the old version.
The browsing volume of the national intelligent education platform has risen rapidly since its launch in March 2022, making it the world's largest digital center and service platform for educational resources.
