Story-sharing session focuses on art, green growth
With the theme of “Lancang-Mekong Art Education Cooperation: To Connect, To Communicate, To Change”, the "Green Lancang-Mekong" Story Sharing Session was held May 31 in central Yunnan's Kunming city, focusing on artistic and people-to-people exchanges.

As part of the “One River, One Family” International Cultural Exchange Series in the New Era, the Lancang-Mekong dialogue is directed by Information Office of the People's Government of Yunnan Province, Yunnan Foreign Affairs Office and Yunnan Cyberspace Administration.
And it is Hosted by China Center for International Communication Development, China Southern Power Grid Yunnan International Co., Ltd, Yunnan Daily Press Group, and Yunnan International Communication Center for South and Southeast Asia.
"The ‘Light of Hope' project aims to pass on love to those in need of care and help," said Thepmoukda Phetsalath, a Laotian interpreter at China Southern Power Grid Yunnan International Co., Ltd, adding the project of public welfare has been carried out in Laos three times.

"In Kunming, I made friends with many students from the LMC countries, and we have a shared dream: to study electrical engineering and improve the power system in our countries," said Tim Chivorn, Vice Chairman of the Cambodian Students’ Union in Yunnan.
"If roads and bridges are physical links, art is a mental connection." Maggie Yin, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of China Center for International Communication Development, CICG, shared her expectation for art cooperation in the LMC countries.
"Teachers and students in our school have participated in rural revitalization, urban renewal, digital economy, ecological design and others," said Wang Tianxiang, Dean of the School of Art Education, Sichuan Fine Arts Institutes.
