Yunnan athletes harvest gold, silvers at Asian Para Games

Yunnan swimmer Zheng Tingting won the first gold medal for the province at the 4th Asian Para Games in Hangzhou, east China's Zhejiang province, on October 23. She won the title at women's 400m freestyle final in 5:12.29 on Monday. Lu Weiyuan, another Yunnan swimmer, won a silver.

Also on Monday, Yunnan canoeist Zhong Yongyuan lost to a Uzbekistan peer by a narrow margin and won a silver in the women's canoe 200m event -- the first silver by a Yunnan athlete at the Hangzhou Asian Para Games. Yin Wenhong won a silver medal in the the men's 100m breaststroke - SB4 race.
