The Georgian exhibition area at the just-concluded 2023 China International Travel Mart (CITM) attracted many visitors by placing a few small tables with unique-patterned table clothes. And on the tables, there are red and sparkling wine just beside brochures of tourism of Georgia.

“The world-famous Georgian red wine has a long history which brings us excellent sales in China,” said Shalva, Managing Partner of Caucasus voyagers. This time they are here for tourism projects. “At present, Chinese tourists could enjoy visa exemption if they come to Georgia,” added Shalva.

To Shalva, participating the CITM was definitely a great chance for more tourists to know more about the small but beautiful country and its tourism resources. Many tourists have tried their high-quality travel projects and enjoyed desert, snow mountains and forests just in a week.

“We have not only managed red wine projects, but also have worked in tourism for more than a decade. This allows us to have very professional teams that can serve the whole Caucasus region,” said Shalva proudly.

China is a large country with unique landscapes of mountains and sea. Yunnan is a world-famous province for tourism, and the diverse landscapes are somehow of same charm like Georgia. But Shalva are eager to see the different between Yunnan and Georgia.

“I’m planning to visit many places in Yunnan to learn about what kind of travel modes tourists prefer,” said Shalva with a smile. He has been to a lot of places in China, like the Great Wall. Different culture really wows him.

“I hope to cooperate with more Yunnan agencies, so that more Georgians may come to the province for the sights they met in books or movies,” added Shalva.
